Wirtz reminds me of Thiago, has all the requisite skills but isn't able to make it happen for Liverpool. Probably best to sell him back to the Bundesliga ad buy in another top quality attacking midfielder.

He’s not up to it.

He’s got talent, but he’s pulling out of 50/50s and too easily knocked off the ball.

Time to cut our losses and move on.

Sadly I'm coming round to this. Desperately go into games hoping we'll see something click with him but it just isn't happening. I mean Cherki cost City £30m and looks miles ahead of Wirtz.

He gets the season for me but unless there is a big change in him getting really stuck into games and impacting games, I think we've got a real decision to make next summer and as we can't have him carry on like this.

Sometimes watch him and think if someone offered him the chance to go back to Germany, he'd jump at the chance. Really feels like the cut and thrust of the league is too much for him and he knows it.

I already said it in another thread. Sell him at £80m and buy somenone like Scott to replace him. Best for both him and the club.
