25 mill for Lallana is steep. Good player but he'll have to play at a high level consistently to justify the price tag. On Pedro, I think hes a much more established player and a safer bet, so to speak. Technically better than Lallana, scores more, and has experience in Europe and at the very top level. He's also a big game player. If we had the chance to pick between any of Pedro, A.Sanchez and Lallana for the 25-30mill figure quoted, lets just say Lallana would be at the bottom of that list for me.
I have to say that I find it interesting that were about to spend around 30mill on 2 attacking players given the performances of the likes of Sterling and Sturridge last season. Coutinho is the most likely to make way for Lallana in the starting 11 but for 25mill I dont see it as that big a step up or a game changer. I really hope Rodgers is keeping in mind the defensive reinforcements needed to really take the side to the next level. Would have been happier with the 30mill being spent on a defender and central midfielder to be honest.
