I enjoy watching him now, he is a joy to see. I admit not so long since I would cringe when he was brought on as a sub. I never had much confidence in the lad but now he's grown up and he's  a first teamer every week for me.

Sterling together with Henderson, Suarez, Gerrard (new role),Sturridge and Coutinho are all beneficiaries of BR's coaching and managerial ability.

sterlings potential is frightening and he has shown great determination to persevere considering it wasnt too long ago he was struggling to stay upright 90% of the time. his pace is electric and he is learning so much playing with suarez who has put most of his goals on a plate for him.
still a way to go for him but based on this season we definately have a player that can compete at the highest level.
i really hope he wins the pfa young player of the year and without a shadow of doubt he deserves a place in the W.C. i think owen was 17 when he scored that goal against argentina and should raheem do the same it could be the making of him.

The point you have made about learning from Suarez I totally agree with.
The two of them appear to be on the same wavelength and constantly look for each other when they have the ball.
Sterling also shows the same sort of fight and tenacity as Suarez that playing with the master every day has surely influenced.

Exactly. He can press high up and also tracks back. His work-rate is second only to Henderson.

Henderson does alot more running then Luis but that is his position, Why you have to pick at what most posters say is something I'll never quite understand perhaps you are still looking for the attention you crave.

Not quite, down to 10.4 but struggling and actually getting worse at present.

Got a really bad hook which I can't shake.

Have to say, he had a good game for England yesterday. He must have thought that a good performance against Denmark would be his ticket to Brazil, and considering his performance and the lack of options for his position, there's no reason why it shouldn't be.

MOTM for me. Immense, especially in the 1st half.

Never seen a player improve so rapidly in the space of 6 months.

His composure when he scored was absolutely world class. Kompany probably thought WTF  BR and his staff have done a fantastic job with Raheem. In the same way as Coutinho his tackling has come on leaps and bounds. He is beginning to look like an extremely valuable player and he could be around for years.

few mths ago, sterling cant even string a simple pass tog.
now he can play left, right and the hole.
and he can cross, dribble, hold defender off and score.
most exciting winger for us since macca/berger.

Under a different manager Sterling would just be another hopeless youth academy failure loaned out and sold off for pennies.
