As I said earlier, ideal impact sub. Not good enough to be a regular starter in a league winning side.
Really? are you serious or just looking to stir up a reaction?
what a beaut

If Danny had missed his phenomenal sand wedge chip over Howard then no doubt you would have castigated him for being selfish and suggested he should have passed the ball to a player in a better position. The lad can't win with you regardless of just how many brilliant goals he scores. You defend Gerrard to the hilt when he has a bad day and yet you do nothing but come out with the same old pathetic drivel about Danny. Of course he makes mistakes so does everybody else. And if you think that Chelsea don't rue the day that they bought Torres for £50m and sold Danny to us for £12m then you are watching a very different game to the rest of us.
Danny is third in Premiership goal scoring table just behind Aguero. Time to get off the high horse mate. Mind you you'll need a fkg long ladder![]()
IMPACT SUB.........

Sturridge is selfish striker, he went for goal when a pass was on.
I seem to recall Ian Rush been selfish then, oh and Fowler he was selfish, oh and Owen and come to think of it so was Keegan & Dalglish. Yeah, to be a good top notch striker who gets regular goals you need to be selfish. Danny fits right in there then! And long may it continue.

he is way ahead of his time and perfecting the stubborn 'stuck in my ways and thoughts' Grandad routine.

So now you're comparing Sturridge to some of the best players ever to play for Liverpool?

do us a favour lad.
The difference with Rush, Dalglish, Owen, Fowler, Aldo, Keegan and the rest was they didn't put their own personal glory of being "the man" ahead of the greater good of the team.

Chelsea and Man City have won the league, neither kept him and neither started him every match.
Liverpool play him most games and despite his goals and having probably one of the best players we've ever had and currently one of the best in the world... we're struggling to put any distance between ourselves, Everton and Spurs are are by no means nailed on for fourth.

Let's face it you chose to heavily criticise the lad for some questionable decisions rather than congratulate him for his MOTM game winning brilliant goals. I really don't know what to deduce from that other than a desperate attempt to support your weak argument that you have now regurgitated on numerous occasions. You even suggest he is still worth only £12m.
Last night I watched Andy Carroll take the most inept air shot I have seen from a professional footballer in a very long time. The night before I watched Danny score a worldwide. We are moving forward and Danny is certainly not the reason why we are not streets ahead of the likes of Spurs and Everton.
