So why has the manager let him go on loan? I thought he was one of Rodgers starlets? He was talking about loaning out wisdom too.

the odd goal aside i hope he is flogged at the first sign of an offer thats around what we paid for him, same for borini although we will do well to get that back.

I haven't actually seen him play and I don't want this to sound like an over-reaction but I'd definitely have him in our team instead of Aspas and Moses.

At least he wasn't such a flop transfer. Took points away from both Everton and Chelsea and made us a favor even though he hasn't played for us.

Actually watching him play I can understand why BR bought him ,I don't understand why he didn't get a chance playing.
He works the line very well very skillful and unless he had attitude problem off the bench it was a strange decision to let him go.

I think he's more of a team player at Stoke,and genuinely seen as the most skilful player currently at the club ,both of these are contributing
factors for his fine form of late. I think at Liverpool he was somewhat overawed by the talent on the pitch,and faded under the expectation.

The type of player we could have used against Chelsea when our wide players ran out of ideas,hope he comes back determined enough to
succeed ,or at the very least more assured and displaying the confidence he's exhibiting whilst at Stoke.

I don't really rate the lad if I'm honest, but at £2,500,000 I have no problem with us taking such a gamble, and lets face it, if we finish above Everton or Chelsea by a point he's paid that back by costing them points.

What I don't understand though, is letting him leave on loan and paying £1,000,000 to Chelsea for the "privilage" of bring that donkey Moses in to the club.
