suarez hasnt even been here 3 full seasons yet and he`s on the verge of doing it twice! he may even do it before chrimbo!!

Smashing post. Very interesting. Thanks.

Surely the best player in the world on present form? Well done to Kenny for bringing him here.

i love kenny but i honestly dont think he had much say in the signings of suarez or carroll, he had only been back in the job about two weeks when they arrived and that was in the position of interim manager.
no way does fsg give an interim manager the credit card and say `go nuts` and sign who you want, not when they have a DoF in place.
i reckon it was the much maligned damien comoli who brought suarez here, and his moneyball methodology was behind the signing of hendo too who`s also seriously starting to look the part.
with hindsight maybe comoli wasnt the disaster everybody thought, suarez is one of the best signings in this clubs history and when you think of the players who have worn the red shirt over the last 120 years thats saying something.

I'd love to give Kenny credit for signing Suarez but it was really down to Comolli and Ayres. I think Kenny was involved with the signing of Carroll and the sale of Torres but Suarez had already signed before Kenny became fully involved.I maybe wrong the memory isn't quite what it used to be.

Yet another understatement of someone talking about Suarez!

17 LEAGUE GOALS... we aren't even out of december yet and the soft tw*t missed the first six games because of an eating disorder.

He's beyond words, so much so that every thread in the world should be about how good he is.

Special players were Fowler, Owen, Rush and Torres... Dalglish was special special...

Suarez is something else all together! :wwww

It's even more remarkable when you consider he sat out half a dozen games due to suspension.

And what's even more satisfying is the fact it has taken Torres THREE YEARS to score 17 league goals for the Chavs   :D

when was the last time we have someone with so great desire to win other than suarez?
oh wait..forgotten gerrard. we need to have that desire in the team to go far.
kudos to his fighting spirit and never says die attitude after the transfer nonsense before start of season.
with some luck, and players keeping fit. we can get top 4!!

No doubt he is probably the best striker in the world right now. But I am beginning to fear we're becoming a one man team. We scored 5 goals, 2 from LS and 3 assists from him. Imagine if he's not in the team?

Kewell mate I'm a bit surprised you didn't also include him buying Messi and Ronaldo with his own money  I think your getting there though. You must have enjoyed his after match interview. Yes he has made mistakes but who gave more out there yesterday? WHAT A PLAYER. The long term commitment is going to be as much up to what the club does in terms of buying players if they really want him to be a part of our future. He deserves a platform to win trophies even Gerrard said as much yesterday on TV. What must he think when he sees us buying the likes of Aspas and taking players like Cissoko on loan? We have got to step up. This is the time to invest big in a couple of quality players.

Take him out the side and we're a higher mid table side at best.

EVERYTHING good we do goes through him. He scores or sets up practically every goal we score and it seems like if he doesn't do it, no-one else will.

He was a very good player when we signed him but last season he developed into a really top class player.  This season he's taken it to another level again, he'd get into any side in the world, any side.  You're right though, everything good goes through him at the moment.  An injury to him would see us struggle.  With him in the side and in this form, literally anything is possible.
