Geez I didn't realise Alexis Sanchez had such a good goal scoring ratio this season.

If only we had been able to sign him a few years ago.

Which means he has 15 goals in 10 games so far this season. What's the record in the Prem? 34-35?

Does seem a little generous considering the amount it deflected. I can only think they must have a minimum angle of deflection for it to be credited to the striker.

All about whether the original shot was on target our not. They must've adjudged that his original shot was on target, so they had no choice but to give it to him.

the record is 31 goals in a 38 game season, jointly held by shearer and ronaldo. suarez already has 15 in 10 games. he needs to score 17 in the remaining 23 games to break the record, and all this having missed the first 5 games aswell.

ridiculous really.

And from what I remember, when ronaldo did it, 7 of his goals were pens, and that's after he missed 4 as well. If Suarez took our pens (not that we get them like united are gifted) then he'd be that much more able to break the record.

Understand your point, disagree with it. A goals a goal, if he's good enough to take them he'll do so.

If he scores 25 in the league, he's been exceptional. Suarez is on another planet, no doubt, the best we've had? Probably...

Better than Ronaldo? MAYBE? But time will tell, comparible to Ronaldo, definately!

Luis = Genius! FACT, END OF! LEGEND!  :hearts  :hearts  :hearts  :D

I thought this also, but Shearer apparently has 34 goals in 42 games, scored them back in 94-95 when Blackburn won it.

Bit lost for words really when it comes to Luis. Truly outstanding and if he doesn't get player of the year this year then it really is a disgrace. He has contributed massively towards the amazing team spirit and fantastic attitude that is there for all to see. Excellent decision by BR to make him captain for the Spurs game. The players love him as much as the fans. He was working as hard at 5-0 as he was at the start of the game. SPECIAL SPECIAL PLAYER !!! Come on Ayres give him a new contract now !!! Van Persie won the league for United last year. Luis might just do the same for Liverpool this season. What a fkg apology that would be !!!
