He has contributed massively towards the amazing team spirit and fantastic attitude that is there for all to see. Excellent decision by BR to make him captain for the Spurs game. The players love him as much as the fans. He was working as hard at 5-0 as he was at the start of the game. SPECIAL SPECIAL PLAYER !!! Come on Ayres give him a new contract now !!! Van Persie won the league for United last year. Luis might just do the same for Liverpool this season. What a fkg apology that would be !!!

I'll get blasted for saying this but honestly, if we end up getting into the champions league, and he puts in over 30, I would not be surprised to see him make the final 3 shortlist for the ballon d'or.
I'm seeing a huge change in the way people talk about Suarez… Every time he does something good, it is no longer followed by how bad he can be, but how blessed we are to be watching him. Only 1 yellow this year and some nasty challenges against him, his goal tally, work rate, and reaction to us holding him has seemed to turn the opinion of many media outlets this year. That's why, if he continues to play like this I really believe he will win player of the year by a landslide, and will have a shot at making the shortlist for the Ballon d'or.

to put this in perspective robbie fowler managed to score 20 league goals in a season just twice in a decade at anfield, and one of those was in a 42 game season, michael owen never did it, neither did kevin keegan, dalglish managed it just once and ian rush achieved that total just 4 times in 16 years at anfield.
those players often scored 30+ goals in a season but that was including their goals in cup competitions, to score 20 league goals is phenominally tough to do.
suarez hasnt even been here 3 full seasons yet and he`s on the verge of doing it twice! he may even do it before chrimbo!!
he`s a footballing genius, when he first arrived people wondered if he could live up to the legendary number 7 shirt worn by the likes of keegan, callaghan, dalglish, beardsley and mcmanaman but he`s actually enhanced the reputation of the shirt.
