I know we wouldn't sign HM and Eriksen, but if we did sign HM as an attacking player to help take over for Suarez, we could still go after Eriksen for the AM position, really to take over for Gerrard tho.  We need Coutinho in the middle, and preferably a defensive player.

It won't happen but I'd be thrilled if it did

We also need strong defensive players more at the moment

Get Henrik sorted then a CB and then a strong ball winner like Wanyama for the middle.

That would really move us forward.

Then if Suarez does leave add in a striker , possibly Remy or Negredo and also another creator in the middle.

I'd go with that as well except that I wouldn't be sure about Remy. Is a player who left Marseille to join QPR purely for the money really the kind of character we want at the club? Attitude is important. He's also got a rape charge hanging over him. Negredo, on the other hand, has always looked a fairly safe bet.

Yeah possibly but he scores goals and would be available at a good price

Negrado I think will be closer to £20mil and one who would be looking for CL footy.

I'd be thrilled with Popadopalous, Wanyama, HM, and a striker like Negredo.  Thing about HM is he seems able to play anywhere, so maybe even use him as a Michu type player and sign Eriksen to play in the center.

I'm actually quite shocked Wanyama isn't getting more attention.

You're desperate for us to sign Eriksen aren't you

I do have to question why when he is going relatively cheap the top clubs are avoiding him at the moment ?

It was said that his season wasnt the greatest and players like Fischer arrived more into the limelight at Ajax ?

Haha the fact he's linked with us is just really exciting... I will admit I have my reservation, but what's going on with him seems like for like with Suarez.

Same club,
Both had a fantastic season, rated as one of the best, then the following season others at the club started getting more credit.
Was surprisingly linked to us for a fee that is half of what people would have guessed somebody would buy the player for

I will admit he was underwhelming during the Euros, but at his age there was a lot of pressure to prove how good he was.

I am concerned that Dortmund have seemed to drop their interest despite the fee being so low.  Even more concerning is that we've seemed to have lost interest as well...

Given the choice I would prefer to spend the £15mil in Fischer

Haven't seen enough of him.

Will say I'd prefer HM over Eriksen tho.

I've only seen his name a couple of times but if I had to guess how it's spelt, I would say: Henrik Mkhtartan  :D

if suarez leaves along with carroll, skrtel, coates and spearing then that should generate enough money to sign a couple of quality players.
toure is in for carra, get that papadopulous lad in for skrtel and the shaktar boy along with muriel and we would be sorted. there could be enough left in the pot to land either a DM or winger for under 10mil.

i`ve been reading up on that muriel RTID and he`s regarded by a lot of respected pundits as possibly the most exciting prospect on the face of the planet atm so our chances of signing him lie somewhere between slim and none and slim just left town.

he looks to be the type of player we should be going after, him that shaktar lad along with coutinho and sturridge is mouth watering.
the club should be out there selling themselves to get that type of quality. he could go to a CL club but he might not be guaranteed a start where as here he will. we should be telling these lads if they join we will make the CL.
we seem to run away when clubs want upwards of 10 mil nowadays

It's one thing to support a player when things go wrong on the field however the club and the fans have expectations that he doesn't bring the club into disrepute. No other player has caused so much off the field controversy nor damaging publicity for a global 'brand'.

I have already commented on the 3 main incidents he has been involved in:

The first "racist" incident is a pure fabrication of the Manure scum and Whiskey nose. It was never proven and giving someone an 8 game ban for using their native tongue is in my opinion borderline facism. As has been pointed out time and time again John "The Lion Heart" Terry got a slap on wrist with calling someone something far worse, which is indeed racist. So little Luis has every right to be outraged at the way this was handled by the authorities, media and lemming fanbase calling for this head. Never in a hundred years would you have seen the same suspension handed to a Manure player if the exact same circumstances were reversed. To add insult to injury that smart-a**e french frog cleverly made the situation worse by pulling his hand away from Luis and another major "LUIS SUAREZ" issue arose. This is probably the biggest con the game has ever seen, I truly f**King despise the scum bags for having pulled it off and in the long term convinced the general public and once again our more 'simple' fans that it was ALL Luis Suarez's fault.

The second so called "diving" incident(s) is another prime example of how he has been targeted incessantly by the media. Yes he has dived in the past, but diving is a football issue, somehow the media harpies have turned it into a foreigner issue or more pointedly a Luis Suarez issue. Once again I don't condone diving and if Luis Suarez is going to be hung out to dry, then name and shame everyone that does this, including your local heroes *cough* *cough* Bale. Another reason the truth won't be reported is because everyone knows those Merchandise United scum-bags will rack up the most free-kicks and penalites for diving and the least amount of genuine penalties against them. You only need to look at our home game against them this season and the outrageous decisions made, particularly Valencia milking a penalty to win the game for them.

The third "biting" incident is something that can't be defended and this is geniunely the only time we can clearly say he has brought the club into disrepute. But in all this time has gone and killed someone? Has he gone and assaulted or maimed someone off the field (plenty of players do this)? Has he raped or sexually assualted anyone? No, his only crime is a love bite on another player yet he is going to miss almost the 3rd of the season for doing this.

If anything this highlights that indirect racism is rife in English football and the ridiculous set of standards applied to one player but not the rest of the league's players especially local ones. How else would you explain the discrepancy that lies in the total bans he has received as compared to other players doing the same thing?

Put this into context and this becomes more of an exercise in the Engligh media and football authorities being under the microscope, then Luis Suarez.

That's about it in a nutshell. The whole thing stinks. But all you read about is not the injustice Suarez has suffered, just that he brings attention to himself by being stupid. Well what about everyone else? Is Suarez the first person to these things? Take the racism bs, nobody ever mentions the referees report, you know the one, the report that went missing, and why did it go missing? could it be because the referee never noted any kind of complaint against Suarez during the match? because nothing was actually said? Even the cameras couldn't pick up anything untoward, and yet Suarez was found guilty.

Corruption in football exists, and as long as so many idiots turn a blind eye to it, it will thrive.
