I'd prefer the club knew he was going, but put the transfer off until we have completed all our business.  We will buy the players we need to replace him and to strengthen our squad before he leaves.  We don't need people thinking we have this ridiculous amount of money sitting in our pockets again... Could be the Carroll situation all over again.

how is he a bigger traitor than torres? I consider moving to a rival club in your own league as a bigger treachery...

I don't understand how Real can strike a deal with a player first before talking to the club that owns him. I say it's bull... even if it's not, listen, it's a big loss but not the end of the world. Suarez is world class but the circus that comes with him we can do without. I have confidence that even if we have to sell him, we will re-invest the money wisely and become a stronger team, a more balanced team. It may just turn out to be the right move...

thats just marca saying that a deal is done, we havent heard it from anyone else (like the echo or tony barrett etc)
it does seem like luis has a buyout clause of £40m though so i guess once someone stumps up the cash and activates the clause we havent got much say on the matter.

Ridiculous buyout clauses when a player is in contract with another club, should have set it at some sky high figure.

40m just seems a bit "meh" for a player of such impact.

But im sure we can ( if we get to spend it ) invest in it wisely
