If he goes it will because we can't offer him the level if football that he wants.
Just like Torres before hand.
If nothing had happened Madrid would have still come calling and Suarez would still be tempted.

Do you actually read back after youve typed something?
So, after Suarez saying quite clearly that him and his family have suffered from the treatment he has had in this country, you are saying that if none of the incidents which he was vilified for had happened, he would still go to Madrid?

Well it's a lot easier than saying, ''I'm sorry guys but Liverpool are a million miles away from the level of Real Madrid at this point in time and at my age I want to be challenging for major trophies, not be stuck in a perennial challenge for fourth".

He hasn't left yet, he was simply stating what any other player in his position would be obviously stating. It would be much worse if he was asked the same question, lied like *cough* *cough* Judas and then left at the 11th hour.
I can't see Real Madrid spending in excess of 90million on just 2 players (Bale and Suarez), which in reality is what they would need to spend MINIMUM if they were going to buy both. If Spurs don't sell Bale, then I truly think we are f**ked because they will come in hard for Suarez and try and get him on the cheap, just like they f**ked us in the past with McManaman, Owen and Alonso. We need to have the ba.l.ls to hold out for 55-60m minimum, anything less and FSG should be hung out to dry.
Anyway this shows you ALL more then ever where we are and the extreme pressure that Rodgers is now under. As I keep saying only bringing in players the likes of Eriksen can save us. I'm sure that if Suarez sees an army of 1m - 3m priced players from relagation fodder teams in Europe, it will only make his decision easier.
