If this guy had it then I have to question why Barce didn't look to secure his services or why Sevilla would happy to sell
The initial fee has been widely reported as 6.8 million with a 1 million add on so I'm not sure why you keep saying 9mil. And your comment about the comparison between leagues is based on what exactly?Benny The Noon » Wed Jul 10, 2013 9:55 pm wrote:Eagle » Wed Jul 10, 2013 10:52 pm wrote:If Suso had been on loan in the Championship last year and got 11 goals and 17 assists from 38 games we'd all expect him to get games in our first 11 this season. Don't see the issue myself.
We wouldn't have to pay £9mil for that privilage. Suso instead was playing prem games for us. I would also wager that the championship is stronger than the Spanish second Div.

They didn't follow up with that but when you look at the options they have in the positions he plays its not exactly an insult. Seville are in serious financial trouble and have cashed in.

And do have loads of expensive big money buys. What's your point?

Barce took him on loan for the reserves and didnt take up the option to buy - that tells me a story - they didnt rate him highly enough

The point is we have spent money on an area where we already have promising yougsters - it's wasted money when we have urgent needs elsewhere in the team

What do you mean as "highly enough"? As highly as the likes of Pedro, Tello, Sanchez, etc. Well that's not really an issue for us right now.

You were trying to understanding Rodgers' thinking and I tried to explain what I think it is as it seems obvious. Is that OK by you?

The question is Higuain or Benteke - if LS is to leave who would you like the money spent on?
