From a personal point of view I would have this Striker impressed the fuck out of me when we played at Estádio da Luz
Benfica
He's good in the air and can score with both left peg and right and he takes a mean free kick.... and he's on no fuckers radar yet ......and he's only 27

cannot believe fickle english fans. One minute there saying get rid of the old guard and bring in fresh blood into the english squad. So last nite capello calls time on beckhams international duty. What happens today everyone but us liverpool fans moaning at capello for doing it hes 35 for fecksake. Plus i think its a disgrace how people are slagging off one of the best club managers of all time.

Looks like he would cope well in the prem as well.

Only thing is, he is adored by the Benfica fans and probably wouldnt want to leave since Benfica are in the CL

Great deal for Barca if that's the case. Not saying I don't rate Hleb, but it is.

Hleb is a quality player but the signing wouldnt make any sense for me now we have Cole.
We have plenty of options in that sort of position, none other than Cole better than Hleb imo but that's not the point.
Unless we were selling some of these players then we are getting overloaded in that area.
We should be focusing on getting a striker in.

I would prefer straight cash for Macherano but would take Hleb. Technically gifted player who also has pace. I know we have cole but would take Hleb as well. His someone who isnt just a squad filler and we need more quality where the manager actually has a decision to make on who play's.

well apparently Balotelli is flying into manchester for a medical today. this could be good, as inter will have some cash to spend...

could (and this is more wishful thinking) start a bidding war, and we may end up with a good price for mash.....

I don't mind the idea of Hleb coming in but him + £13M for Mascherano is a GREAT deal.....for Barca. We end up with ANOTHER attacking MF and lose out a very good defensive MF.

Hopefully Inter sell this Ballotelli guy and come in for Mascherano, we get an offer of £20M + Cambiasso and then we can use the £20M to bring a striker and a LB.
