Liverpool FC tonight announced they had agreed a fee with Aston Villa for the transfer of Stewart Downing.

Liverpool have now been granted permission to discuss personal terms with the player and arrange a medical.

Ya it sounds like he'll be heading back to Belgium. If we get anything out of the sale like the £4 million I've heard than that would be a great deal for us.

if we can follow the sale of Konchesky by getting Jovanovic and Poulsen off the books i will be very happy.

Insua defo, is Degen still with us ?

El Zahr is another than needs fckin off.

I wouldnt mind keeping Cole Aquilani and maxi personally.

Haha lots of rumors saying we're going for Higuain.. Would be a great signing and Madrid want to get rid of him so they can free up some funds for Tevez, or so I've heard..
