To be fair reg it it hasn’t been an active window for any team and I’m sure every team needs something. Loans seem to be the theme this window.

Ivan Tony anyone? It'd be a gamble but then, he loves a gamble   sorry, I think he'd be an asset playing up top. Let's face it Nunez is not exactly ripping it up.

His a good forward, was chased by Arsneal I think, but being English he'll be massively overpriced and wil turn 28 in March.

Thiago Alcantara has pocketed approximately £7,200,000 since his last appearance for Liverpool.

I'm clinging to the hope he'll play a big part in our end of season success.

In reality, he'll probably stay injured and then leave for free kn a mega money move to Saudi.

A fit Thiago in the business end of the season could seriously be the difference to our success. We know his injury prone but we also know how much quality he possesses.

The average age of the 16 players used yesterday was 23.5 years old. Without Alisson and VVD (31 and 32) it falls to 22.4!
With 6 of yesterdays youngsters having come through the academy and others still ridiculously young (Elliot 20, Gravenberch 21 etc..), it shows that the key element of success is the manager, not the hundreds of millions City, United and Chelsea have spent.

I hope Chelsea are happy with Caicedo at £115 million (eight-year contract with the option of a one-year extension) a record fee that surpasses the £107 million Chelsea paid for Enzo Fernandez. Fortunately they have a ***** manager.

Alisson Becker 31
Joe Gomez  26
Virgil van Dijk  32
Ibrahima Konaté  24
Conor Bradley 20
Owen Beck 21
Curtis Jones 22
Bobby Clark 18
Alexis Mac Allister 25
Harvey Elliott 20
Ryan Gravenberch 21
Darwin Núñez 24
Diogo Jota 27
Kaide Gordon 19
Luis Díaz 27
Cody Gakpo 24

Knowing Thiago he'd pick up 5 yellow cards in no time and earn a ban. The last time I saw him play for us, must be 6 years ago now, he couldn't tackle for shyte. Always got his timing wrong

When ever I see him play his usually linking well with Mid, providing crucial passes. He may have an odd off game but typically perform consistently well.

Tabloids having a drug fuelled bender day, suggesting half the team will eff off at the end of the season. Must be a slow news day

For the first time in many seasons, I can honestly say we don't need to buy a player. Well done Klopp, well done the Academy.
