Guy seems like a bit of a diva. Wants his salary DOUBLED to stay put in Italy. Has fallen out with his manager.
Personally I think we should steer clear of him...

Not sure that we are looking at attacking players when defensive players is what we need.

Yeah, well stocked in terms of attacking players.  On the topic of defensive additions, caught some of the crystal palace v spurs game yesterday and think that Van de Ven looked really impressive and would have really suited our system. We were linked but nothing came of it but think him and Konate would have been some partnership as a long term replacement for Virgil and Matip.

Lots of talk surfacing again about us signing Andre Trinidade in January window. I'd be delighted if we could get him.

Might need to move fast and nail it down as Arsenal are now showing a lot of interest in the fella.

We’ll see what his mrs. wants, life in London or life in Liverpool.

I'd like to think our Brazilian/Argentine/Colombian/Uruguayan lads (past and present) will convince him to come to Anfield.

No idea if Arsenal are actually interested in him or not but Edu, their sporting director does seem to have good contacts back in Brazil so wouldn't be a total surprise if he ended up there.

Rumour has it that we have sent people to Brazil to sign Lucas Beraldo, not quoting the source as I only saw in in paper talk on Sky.

Read that alright. I know nowt about him. Mind you, he's only 19. I doubt very many know anything about him

I'd welcome any news of a new central defender. Matip is done as a top level defender in my opinion and Gomez is also prone to mistakes.

My gut tells me that meeting with Andre is also on the agenda.

Matip is on borrowed time and Gomez apart from a one season peak, was never good enough. He never asserted himself, he let Matip take over.

Watching Andre play in the Club World Cup, definitely a player and superior to  Endo or an out of position MacAlister, we really need to go all out to get him as a lot of clubs will be trying to buy him for good reason. He is well built and I think would become a super star. He just seems to snuff out danger.
