Feck Mexes, Houllier tried to sign him years ago, snubbed it back then, he isn't that good anyway.

Am I the only one thinks Mertersacker is not the answer? He has been dreadful with Werder Bremen this season and is making mistakes almost every game, I really don't want a defender like that!

you're not alone. i would rather see someone like Sakho or Cahil in central defence.

Madrid told Dalglish to come and get Canales. 19 year old, was a huge prospect at Racing, I think it could be a good investment.

I don't know Johnson has tons of talent...worst case he and carrol can go bar hopping together..

Jarvis ,as well as Downing from Vila ,Beins,Adam ,Young...All great local names we should be going for.

And if we really to spice things up lets get Hulk from Porto ,a total beast of a striker.

From the BBC website, the daily Mirror are saying

Liverpool's Lucas Leiva is being lined up for a £3m move to Napoli as the Reds continue to track Blackpool star Charlie Adam, 25, as a central midfield replacement.

I think Lucas is worth a lot more than £3m
