To be fair to them if we do sign Allison that will mean we have broken the world transfer record for a goalkeeper just 6 months after breaking the world transfer record for a CB.

Don't see it myself. He looked pretty shaky to me and it was Lovren who was the lynchpin in the Croatia defence at the world cup. Don't see us buying a CB unless Matip is leaving and I'd be surprised if it was Vida.

Croatia were shaky because Vrsaljko constantly left his position to support the attack ,leaving Lovren and Vida covering the void he vacated ,I thought Vida looked ok but he wouldn't be my choice to partner the big dutch fella either !

Wouldnt want to see him sign to be honest. He's 29 and wont start ahead of Lovren. We have Matip, Gomez, and Klavan as backup as is.

I'd put that money towards any bid for a Fekir, Lozano, Zaha, or any decent wide player who can give us another attacking option.
