dont forget that we have fernando torres as his strike partner. that means a lot to some players.

Spurs may be able offer players in exchange, maybe Pavlyachenko, that could interest Ajax, who knows. Also those players would bring a decent price should they wish to balance the books. Then again Suarez may fancy playing alongside Torres and re lighting the fires at Anfield but bottom line is you have to pay good money to get these lads so show them the coin and you have a great chance.

But at Spurs, what can they pull Suarez with? Yes come play alongside Peter Crouch? Modric? Van der Vart? Sure they have decent players, but he could be persuaded to come play with legends at Liverpool. Come play with Fernando Torres. Come play with Steven Gerrard. Those three together could make a super team, possibly the best three triangle in the prem if Suarez can prove himself. Not to mention he can actually speak clearly with Torres. Torres, Reina, Maxi, they all speak Spanish and it could help him adapt and transition. I think he knows he will be more comfortable at Liverpool.

Not to mention the pressure. Spurs are overachieving at the moment. They can't do any better than they are without spending money. If he goes to Spurs and they don't finish in CL spots then he will be looked at as a problem. He knows the history that is LFC and knows how proud the fans are. If he comes here and we end up with a Europa League spot, him scoring a few goals and maybe getting a few assists, the fans will adore him. He will have no pressure on him because of all the support he will have.

know what I'd love us to pull this off because for the most part the media haven't picked up on it, like there's been a few reports about our interest here and there but nothing major.

Knowing that we can pull something off like this with barely any publicity would please me greatly, no longer washing the linen in public so to speak

20 million pounds doesn't sound unreasonable given the going rates for some players.

Really hope NESV stump up the cash and the Suarez deal gets done.
