Twitter claiming that Basel's winger, Mohamed Salah, is a done deal. Don't know much about him, but apparently he's coming here for £10 million.

We've been heavily linked with the Barcelona forward Pedro...

That would be one hell of a signing. If we could get him, Coutinho and Suarez upfront would be ridiculous and one of the best front lines in europe. Sturridge in reserve as well... not bad at all.

Absolutely fantastic player with pace, eye for goal, can link up, see a pass and a dummy and has outstanding movement. Is good at getting in behind and he's two footed as well. Similar player to Overmars was.

Heard it was a swap deal.  Pedro plus 20 million for Aspas.

Pedro is a leading scorer in Barca ,no chance he is leaving Catalonia. But yeh would be an amazing signning

We wont keep Sturridge for long if he's backup from the bench.

considering the window opens on new years day we havent really been linked with many players, last december it was easier to list the players we hadnt been linked with.
suarez signing a new deal shocked a lot of people so maybe the club have something big lined up for january too, hope so.

do you think BR is happy with the goalie now? or could this be a position he may change in the not too distant future? I quite like Mignolet , he seems steady enough but we have shipped some goals and he does panic a little

i could be wrong but i dont think we`ll go for another keeper mate, mingolet is a good shot stopper and technically pepe is still on our books so i cant see rodgers spending money on another goalie, and after cornering the market on CB`s last summer i cant see him strengthening that area either.
i reckon a central midfielder is almost certain to come in.

It is possible that we'll go for a new keeper but as back-up only. Mignolet is going to be here a long time. He has his flaws obviously but he's a great keeper that has saved our ***** a few times this season. I think BR rates him.

But I think we'll just sign a new midfielder is this transfer window. It has to be a smart signing though and price shouldn't be an object. I think we'll end up with Fernando from Porto.

Only 4 teams conceded less goals than us. Maybe the other 15 teams should change their keepers too
That's including Skrtel's contribution as well.

no such luck though i did read on some site that we where linked with cashley 

I dont see us having much to spend but if we can get a top CM and another attacking player we could really push on in the second half of the season . For me, Cabaye and another goalscoring midfielder (preferably one who can play out wide) would be great additions to he current squad. If we have title ambitions, we'll probably need 3 or 4 players on top of that ( a top CB to play alongside Sakho, a solid fullback for competition if nothing else, and another option upfront )
