yakubu

on talksport some1 phoning in saying yakubu is in liverpool for a medical tonight

what you think of him?

i dont believe its true, but i would be unhappy if we signed him, hes average at best.....dunno how he scores the amount of goals he gets

I just gave Uncle Albert a call and his best mate met a tramp who lives outside Melwood who saw Yakubu having a medical, must be true.

I think he would be a great signing he would link up well with Bent and the both of them would blossom as a partnership with the supply of Benthegoon or whatever his name is we would be unstoppable

Not really a fan of his to be honest, its becoming hard to juggle these mediocre players around so that i can figure out which one of the ever growing list of 2nd raters i would want, if i HAD to choose

I wont copy the rest of the article as Stockport don't seem too pleased

Hes a goalkeeper BTW.

I like Yakubu, not top drawer but a decent striker with none of the baggage that Forlan would bring with him. Good enough for us...... not sure, but depending on price would be a decent signing.

Press conferences get announced. That's the whole point. The number of press conferences that get rumoured to happen really does do my head in.

If a club has something to announce, they put out a press release.

"Dear press - come to our conference. It will be at suchandsuch time"

So, unless your good source was reading a press release to you (which would also mean every news website in the land would have it as breaking news), I think you're maybe stretching the truth a bit.
