Stockport kid Tansey rejects Liverpool
tribalfooball.com - June 18, 2007

Stockport County teenager Greg Tansey has rejected a move to Liverpool.
The teenager fears he'll get lost in the Reds system and wants to play first team football at Stockport, says The Scum.

DARREN BENT has told Liverpool and Tottenham that he will go to the club that gives him the best chance of being an England regular.

The Charlton striker last week proved he is not motivated by money when he turned down a £75,000-a-week, five-year deal at West Ham after the two clubs had agreed a £17million fee.

Bent's representatives are believed to have made it clear the marksman is keen to go to the European Championship next summer.

Bent has scored 15, 22 and 19 goals in the last three seasons but has seldom got the credit his efforts deserved.

Both Liverpool and Spurs are interested but neither club will go anywhere near the £18m demanded by Charlton nor the £75,000 a week the Hammers were offering.

Both Liverpool and Spurs are in Europe and both will pay Bent only a £35,000-aweek salary. Spurs guarantee him regular first-team football while he'd have to fight for his place at Liverpool.

Good. Go to Spurs then.

CPC, there is no :censored: reason you should ever post a s*n article, link, or whatever. Even if you do source it as 'scum'.

Marseille and Liverpool are close to agreeing a new loan deal for Djibril Cisse, according to L'Equipe.

The France international striker spent last season at the Stade Velodrome and is happy to remain for a further season after l'OM qualified for the UEFA Champions League.

Bolton and Benfica have also been linked with a bid for Cisse, but it appears Marseille are set to reach an accord with The Reds.

The deal is likely to include the option for Marseille to sign the 25-year-old front man for a pre-determined fee next summer.

Barcelona's Ludovic Giuly is another priority for l'OM, who are on the lookout for a replacement for Franck Ribery.

Monaco also want the Barca attacker but Marseille sport director Jose Anigo hopes to steal a march on their rivals.

"We are in talks. We are trying but it is not that easy," Anigo said.

Meanwhile, Anigo has revealed he is close to capturing Karim Ziani, having agreed a deal with the winger.

But further talks with Sochaux chairman Jean-Claude Plessis are still required before the move can be finalised.

Anigo added in L'Equipe: "We have an agreement with the player and his agent. Now we are waiting for talks with the Sochaux chairman."

However, former Milan and Paris Saint Germain midfielder Vikash Dhorasoo will not replace Ziani at Sochaux, according to Plessis.

"We dreamt during a moment, but eventually the reality caught up with us," he told Direct 8.

why are we loaning him out for another year why do we not just sale him to the highest bidder and have done with it

every year we loan him out the lower the sale price is going to be it says there maybe a fixed price but it can`t be what we would get for him now

does anyone know how long he has left on his contract i thought 1 year but it might be 2??

I would be shcoked if Juve wanted Bellamy.  I cant see it, i really cant.

Cisse's deal runs out next year.  he wont go for free though. L'OM will pay 7 mil Euro's.

I think Liverpool would love to sell him to the highest bidder but if the player only wants to go to Marseille what the can the club do?

From tribalfootball :(

Arsenal will be invited to bid for Real Madrid winger Robinho this summer.

El Mundo Deportivo says Real chiefs intend to cash in on Robinho to fund a bid for AC Milan midfield ace Kaka. The Brazil international midfielder is regarded as the only player on Real's books capable of raising a big enough fee to strengthen their hand in negotiations for Kaka.

Only in January, Robinho admitted that AC Milan had expressed interest in him, while Arsenal moved for the former Santos star last summer, but were put off by Real's £15 million asking price.

Liverpool boss Rafa Benitez will monitor developments closely, particularly after losing out to Manchester United for Nani earlier this month.

So that's where Radio City get their stories from (Tribalfootball)  :D .

TBH I just can't see what people see in Robinho, he is such a prima donner and hasn't done fook all yet. He spends most of his time rolling round on the floor (at least the groundsmen won't have to roll the pitch  :D ). He does show one or two bits of flair and skill but for the fee that Madrid would probably want he just ain't worth it in my books.

No doubt he'll go to arsenal and look like a world beater.
