Liverpool Football Club - The Rumour Mill

What about Wayne Routladge. He is a Liverpool supporter, contract running out, rightsided midfielder, most assists in the Premership this season.

I think we should be aiming to make 3 or 4 signings in the January window (depending on whether or not Nunez is the answer on the right of midfield):

2 strikers - Morientes and Fowler
1 right midfielder - Wright-Phillips would be great, but more realistic would be a bargain basement signing like Routledge as Pig Catcher said - he'll be good value in terms of the number of decent crosses the strikers would get per pound spent.
1 centre-back - Dawson or Upson

Yeah it would be nice to buy 3 or 4 players but we don't have the money, a quality striker and a centre back are the priorities  :;):

I agree Paul. Our priorties must be a quality centre back and striker, but we shoulden't buy just for the sake of buying, we should only buy the right player for the right price.

I think buying too many players in January could unsettle things, so maybe just the 1 or maybe 2 players would be wise.

Liverpool.no claims that Manchester City are favourites to sign Henchoz in January. Isn`t exactly shocking that Manchester City takes interest in Liverpool players  :)

Has the board defined the budget limit for Benitez? Penny-wise, we could consider taking unhappy fringe players on loan from the big clubs in Europe...

Anyway, it's nice to see the youngsters performing well in the cup matches. I was wondering: as we ARE facing a striker crisis right now, could we get Le Tallec back as a cover?
