With STG20 million to spend over the summer Benetiz, who also has unsettled Chelsea midfielder Damian Duff in his sights, is likely to put in a bid for the player in the coming weeks.

Well he is a Liverpool fan and we should have bought him years ago only souness would'nt sell him to us :angry:

so we got two fantastic players instead friggen Diao and Diouf :angry:

Can't see us going for Duff now that we have Gonzo on the way. Would go as far to say that from what I've seen Gonzo is a better player. Moving tom Chelsea has done Duff no good at all. Like SWP, playing 1 game in 3 (or less) has seen then regress their careers.

We should have snapped him up yers ago and quite honestly he isn't the same player any more. He's still good, but not as good as it was.

Agreed. In Gonzo we have a younger, fitter and better player en route to Anfield. Also at a fraction of the price!

duff dives. im glad we didnt sign him. he showed hmiself to be just a money grabbing eejit. i sort of feel the same about SWP, part of me thinks maybe he should rot in the reserves for a bit. but thats just me.

all this kissing your badge doesnt mean as much when u join a club purely for money and 3 games a season

I agree with you about Duff but I think I SWP would be a great addition...
