The Premiership - General Discussion

Baros's career is in freefall right now. Villa will finish bottom six at best and he really needs to get his scoring boots on for the Czech Republic to get himself in the shop window. The cynic in me is waiting for the big fallout with him and O'Leary before January. Baros was desperately badly advised about his move to Villa, he is a better player than that and though I can't feel sorry for the little ponce his footballing ability deseves better.

Cant really thing of any Liverpool players who leave this club and do go onto better things.
Its always  a step down in my biased eyes

Agreed, even Owen hasn't gone on to better things and he left to Madrid!

Funnily enough, thinking about this the other day. I cannot think of one player, say in the last 25 years that has moved on from LFC to another club, and achieved greater things   ???

Even when the club is perceived to be 'bigger', lets say Owen to Madrid, Rushie to Juventus, don't know what it is, but it seems once you have played for the Mighty Reds, anything else is just downhill.

However I am quite prepared to be corrected of course   :D

Bet Baros now wishes he had kept his mouth shut and accepted his squad role in LFC now.

Possibly Stevie Bosman Mac when he went to Real Madrid, but my rose coloured glasses would probably filter him out anyway  :D
