I will be so :censored:

off if the Mancs sign Tevez yes we have just captured Torres a great talent for the now and the future.
But in Tevez we could have had a talent as big as Rooney but with that South American flair to go with it. He was defernetly the most wanted player the Liverpool fans would have liked Rafa to sign. so why have't we.

If the mancs can get him with a 6 mil loan with a option to buy in 2 years shurley we could have as well. If so then i think this is a big opertunity missed.

he comes with too much baggage, whoever buys him will inherit the headache that comes with him. he would be a great player for us, so it might have been worth it, but i guess now we'll never know!

Tevez would have been a great signing for us, players of his quality don't come along very often, and I think its disappointing we couldn't get him. I suppose a lot depends now on where Rafa plays Kuyt, because if he plays him deep again I can't see him improving much on last season, even with the addition of Torres and a winger (or two).

Maybe Voronin can surprise us all and step up a level. Even with the signing of Torres I still see us as a bit short of the quality up front that Tevez could have provided.

If that idiot joins Manchester it means he's not worth to play Liverpool.

BTW, I have missed some of the rumour threads, have Liverpool tried to sign him up at some point or at least announced a mild interest about Tévez?

Nothing official Sabre , it was in the echo one day last week i think that Tevez was one of the striking options that rafa was looking at , but that's about it.
