The Premiership - General Discussion

Only real chance is Spurs getting something off City. Mannure will "try" but can't see them getting anything. They are back in "Maureen mode".

Is anyone watching the City v Spurs game? I think Spurs are deliberately taking the p1ss out of us, City are 1 nil up and are mostly dominating the game but Spurs have had 4 great chances to score and missed the lot. They were practically 4 one-on-ones with City's keeper.

Yakka -  you’d think that Spurs have been paid off if it wasn’t for the fact that they are chasing a Champions League spot !!

This is why we need VAR in the league.

Clear cut penalty should have been awarded to Tottenham. Too many of these pathetic decisions have gone Manure the Blue’s way this season.

Disgraceful.

Finished 1-0, big blow that, imo Spurs were our best hope of taking something from City.
All we can do is win all our games and hope for the best but we are running out of realistic opportunities.

They've won 14 of their last 15 PL games.
We've been great this season, but its hard to compete with that.
My only minor gripe, I thought we could have been more ruthless in the week that we drew with United and Everton.  Both were there for the taking.

I know it is not over but when the ball fell on Citys court i had a feeling that yup this is over now.

I really can't see mannure getting amything. Once City beat them it will give them the confidence to obliterate the rest.

At least we are still in the UCL and hold our own destiny in that competition.

Not giving up on EPL but after each game my optimism levels are decreasing fast.

I said before that if they lose points it’ll be when nobody expects it, i.e vs Burnley or Leicester. Leicester usually step up against the big guns, plus Bodgers will probably want to do us a favour. United won’t do us any favours that’s for sure, they’ve already conceded that game - the baby face ***** will probably follow Gary neville’s advice and rest a few players. I wouldn’t put it beyond that ***** of a club to sabotage our title hopes at the expense of missing out on CL football.
