Just saw the goals and was gobsmacked how City's goals stood in a competition that supposedly has VAR implemented. Thought to myself, hell, I must have heard wrong then, there must be no VAR at all here. So I googled "FA Cup VAR" and this was the first thing that came up:

"VAR is in use during the FA Cup, but only at Premier League grounds"

Having no VAR at Swansea did us a favour imo, personally I want City in as many competitions as possible so they have a big fixture pile up at the end of the season. Playing every 3 or 4 days at the end of a long season is tiring, they had 23 players at the WC as well so hopefully it will all get too much for them and they will run out of steam.

The Legends are playing Milan today...good to see Fowler can still find the net and finish like a predator

In other news, Arsenal go above Spurs now. Although I kinda wanted them to be out of the top 4 as I think they'd find the most difficult to return as opposed to the other top 4 candidates (which means less competition for us), I'm kinda glad for now them as I dislike them the least.

But more importantly, Spurs now have a problem on their hands that they probably didn't think they'd have a few weeks ago, to remain in the top 4. Hopefully they'll raise their performance (they'll have to if they wanna play in the Champions League again next season), and cause some problems for City in their PL match.

Chelsea will also give us a tough match as the race for champions league spot it tight.

Mancs down to 10 men and losing 2-1 at Wolves. Let's hope it stays that way (or Wolves score more  :D )

It will be great if Tottenham and the Scum have to really go all out to beat City to cement their top 4 places.
I reckon City could lose points against both with the motivation they will both have to beat them.

Mancs lose 3 out of 4 - Ole has signed on for 3 years- long may it continue..and they are in a dog fight for 4th.

When Barca dump them out of the CL they will be all over City like a rash I reckon. Dream scenario is them beating City and us winning our last 6 so they will effectively have crowned us champions.  :nod

Yes exactly, was hoping the mancs would drop points today so they have no other option but to beat City if the want to remain in the top 4.

So that's Spurs and United City have to play, both will have to get something off that game if they want to have hope for CL football next season. Apart from them, City have to play Cardiff and Burnley, both fighting for survival in the PL. And there's also Crystal Palace and Leicester, who look very strong under Rodgers now. That's 6 difficult games for City, surely they'll drop points in at least one of them. It only remains to be seen if we can do our own job.

I think  City will lose 1 and draw 1 of their last 7 games - 5 points dropped.

I think we will draw 1 and win 5-

We win the PL. by 1 point.. :-)

Manc supporters would rather miss out on the CL than see us win the title, such is their mentality. I think the team will play their asses off regardless though, which is good news for us.
