Been trying to get fitter myself slowly building up the runs.
Only go on dinner so nothing too mad, the one we have done the last few weeks is about 4.7 miles and takes us about 34 minutes i think.
Also been running up the stairs in our building.
There are about 8 flights and around 250 stairs.
Ran up them yesterday 5 times with my mate and my calves are sore today  :D

Anyone still out running, roberto? Im still injured, going for a scan on Thursday so hopefully ill be back running soon

Yeah I have been meaning to write in here the past few weeks.I have been running 2-3  times a week since the beginning of February and to be honest I don't normally get back into my running to about this time of the year, March until October but I have every reason to begin early this year because I'm getting married on the 12th June and I have to make sure I am in tip top shape.

It has took me since February to get anywhere where i need to be in fitness.I have only started in the past 3 weeks to do the 10 mile run and I am struggling on that tbh but I am generally doing 6-8 miles most times I go out.I have got my breathing right but a few niggling little strains are doing my head in and I am very wary of my achilles cos It feels tight sometimes.

What injury are you struggling with Dundalk?

Starting to get a bit further now, did 7.5 miles the other night and felt ok.
I am just going to see how far i can take it.
Still couldnt imagine trying to do 26 miles like, think it would actually kill me  :D

Fair play, 7.5 mile is good running, what kind of time are you doing that in?  Id you slowly increase your mileage each week you could do a marathon if you really wanted to...it sounds a lot worse then it really is.

I got my cast of yesterday and my foot still feels as bad as it ever did.....I dont think ill be doing anymore running again this year........

I popped my hip out, had a slight tear in my IT-band, and was in the hospital with rhabdo for a week with pain in my calves.

And I'm finally starting to be able to play sports again, just be patient, and it'll happen :D

Going back years go I could only run later on in the day to get my best run out of me, but now it's role reversed and I only tend to run in the morning to feel at my best.My achilles is starting to tighten again and it is the 2nd time it's starting to play up now.I think it might be down more to needing new trainers

Did just under 9 miles this evening, right along the front by ours. Was a nice run like.
Took about 1 hour 14.

Pretty good going that mate, i would say we would meet up for a duel but I wouldn't take the risk in Birkenhead.
