It can be merged after some days and all that, but not that it's a crime! We need positive posts and some good news in the team and that post was positive.

I already got carried away in the Aquilani thread, as I mentioned there he seems to have the mobility Mick requested for Alonso many times. Looks good.

I did see a few glimpses of geniune quality tonight, the ball out to Degen being the pick of the bunch. Glad to finally see him get a run out.

From what I seen tonight he looks like he could be good but its too early to say yet. Some nice touches but when I first seen Diouf I thought he was the new Pele

Definitely the latter, mate. He was clearly rusty but you can't fault him for that and he showed some real quality and nearly broke the game for us. I will refrain from the 'he's going to be better than Alonso' hyperbole at this stage though! :cool:
