Because I think the team is good enough to challenge, I'm negative. Because I think the manager should be expected to win trophies from time to time, I hate him with a passion. Despite the fact that I've supported Liverpool since I was a little kid, for not far off forty years, I'm gutted when we beat Man Utd?

I think Rafa has a problem getting the team ready and up for the smaller games, I understand him putting so much time into looking at the big games but the team sort of pick themselves up for them ones, it when they have to go and play games with the likes of Sunderland for of our team feel we will win easy as its only sunderland.

Sammy did not do well at Bolton but that was not his fault and i think we all know that, the club was a right mess at that time, most of the players were not even turning up for traning as they did not know when it was going to be as they were not told, 5 time Sammy was left on his own at the traing ground and twice it was shut when he got there.

I am not saying Sammy is the be all to end all but he has his place at the club and should be used better, yes we know he is not getting on with Rafa all the time but i am sure that could be sorted.

1. If he wasn't injured. Wouldn't he be out of our league? And what would his potential price be? You don't think this could be another masterpiece-signing like Mascherano?

2. Could have done better with what money? With the Aquilani money. Ok. how much better then? Pure speculation. Let's wait and see. If Aquilani will play 300 games for Liverpool over the next 6-7 year. And play well. Isn't it worth waiting for 2 months for his legs to cure?

Liverpool has in no way the ability to dominate the modern game like we did 30 years ago. Things have changed dramatically. With the bosman ruling and free flow of labour and capital. You will no longer see clubs like Millwall, Norwich, Nottingham Forest put up title challenges like they did only 20-30 years ago. Liverpool is haunted by its richer rivals. The best we can hope for is nicking a trophy here and there. We will never return to the glory days of the 70s and 80s.
