What will happen to the fan that throw a bottle at Tevez? What will happen to the gobsh!te that ran on the pitch?
fuck all, thats what and Bellamy will get banned.

Ano what you mean Cigg , same here  . dead bitter,

feck all will happen to any of the mancs, As far as im concerned Bellamy was protecting himself, they should be questiond about player safety, An the drunk should be fined an all for goading City fans, he could of caused a riot there
HE WHO BETRAYS WILL ALWAYS WALK ALONE

Well there's no chance of either us bidding for him, or frankly them selling him either. In a squad full of potential prima donna's, Bellamy is one of the glue players who reminds them what they are actually getting paid to do, namely win football matches. I should think Mark Hughes regards him as one of, if not the, most important player he's got.

It sounds like an after the event piece of wiseness, but I felt we should have kept him and said so at the time. Is/was he better than Keane? In all probability he is yes, and I guess we'll never know how much his club selection and the fact he twatted Riise with his chosen implement was a factor in us moving him on. He may indeed be bad news, but there's never any shortage of clubs who want his services that's for sure.

Of course he'd walk into our squad now and is in a different stratosphere in terms of ability to any striker we have bar Torres. That said, given the circumstances it would be unfair to criticise the manager for moving him on.

In hindsight it is rather unfortunate we didn't hold onto him.  Can't speak to his influence behind the scenes (besides rumours about 'that' incident of course) but you're spot on to say he's never had a bad word to say about us since he left and he did work his socks off when he was here.  I know players leave us and rarely do well but I think Bellamy's making a pretty good case to be the exception to prove the rule (perhaps until Alonso settles in fully in Madrid).

I heard he was looking at a fairly long suspension.

I think he should be given an OBE instead, personally.

I agree he deserves a medal, especially after the knob ran onto the pitch.

While I don't condone violence in football, it can feel good to give a manc a right tw@tting, did it meself in 5 a-side last week, totally by accident of course, but god I enjoyed it!!! :D

Should be banned for a good few games if the fan who invaded the pitch didnt threaten him with violence...
The fan i would think would be banned from future matches or serve some other sort of punishment but so should Bellamy.. inexcusable..

On the football end of things.. hes had a good couple of games against big sides on the bounce now and seems to be up for it... Will be interesting to see who makes way (Tevez would be the one for me, doesnt seem to be adding much to the side) when their other forwards are back... Think he'll be back on the bench though once Robinho is back, but for now as long as he keeps scoring/playing well, im sure Hughes will stick with him... Ban for Bellamy couldnt have come at a worse time tbh...

Could we have used him if he was still in our squad ? a definite yes for me.. would have given us the option of going with 2 upfront and maybe not having to rely on Lucas as much..

As opposed to having to play the off form cm and one who is playing the worst out of the lot of them at the moment - ie masher :;):

as for bellamy - its a shame he had a few probs with us - if he had kept his nose clean and had no discipline probs with us i reckon he would still be at the club and would be great back up for us - he didnt really score that many for us but that wasnt through lack of trying - i reckon he must of hit the post more times than anyone else in the season .

Mascherano never offered much in most games... Going forward you certainly wouldnt expect much from him and in the defensive end of things i think the system we had, given the personnel, made us look a lot better defensively than the players employing it would have you think... Lucas on the other hand, is expected to offer much more in an attacking sense, id take you're point if they both had the same role or were expected to do similar jobs.. except they're not...

A little off topic i know.. Anyways back on topic.. i hea Bellamy walked the length of the pitch to approach the restrained fan and slapped him... no need for that... im sure the FA will do something about it especially after all the talk last week about footballers needing to act as role models and all that...

I guess going by form in either role its masher that needs to worry once aqualini is fit as at present lucas is providing a more positive role in the team

Bellamy didnt really walk the length of the pitch - he walked about 15 yards to where the stewards had him and grabbed him on the face and pushed his head - then the manc players came rushing and and rio grabbed bellamy by the throat which should be looked at by doubt it will .

I dont agree with anyone wishing he was still in our squad. He causes trouble wherever he goes and appears to be a ignorant arrogant little tw@t!
He never lasts at a club and always falls out with people, hes obviously not a very likable fella and is no good for togetherness in any dressing room...beating team mates with golfclubs and all that..We dont need that sh'ite!

This aside though,he chinned a Manc(although nowhere near hard enough) so he has my respect.I dare say the FA will come down hard on him though and his reputation may go before him too!
Anyway well done Craig and two lovely goals....just a pity they got robbed!
