thought the trailer looked really poor. hoping for a lot more cgi work before the film actually comes out. this could be the biggest anti-climax in the history of cinema

The trailer looked excellent, and one thing about this film from what I've heard, is that the trailer does not do it justice one single bit. This could be the start of a revolution in film making and entertainment in general. Bold statement, yes; but imagine watching a Lord of The Rings film in total 3d that makes you feel like you're actually standing next to the characters in the film. Cameron doesn't tend to f*ck things up. He's one of the very few cinematic story telling innovators left out there.

just came back from Inglorious Basterds. :p

FU.CKING LOVED IT!

:D

sometimes, (well most of the time anyway)

in the rough and tumble, multi million dollar special effects laden assembly line of :censored: that hollywood spews out of its filming sets -

its very refreshing to watch a movie that sets itself apart not just with its acting and inventive storyline, but dialogue as well. dialogue and character development are very unappreciated these days, especially with the 5 second attention span of those running with the transformers/gi.joe crowd.

but inglorious is a breath of fresh air into the lungs of good ol' storytelling and first rate dialogue.

i'll leave it at that. :)

just make sure you pay attention.

Inglourious basterds is a solid flick, I wasn't blown away or anything but i'd recommend it to anyone very enjoyable and funny.  The only knock on it is the fact that it is fiction but based on real history, somewhat.  It just bugged me at times for some reason.

8/10 for me

District 9 is a good one as well, if you're into anything sci-fi you will love it.

Watched District 9 last night and it was actually surprisingly very good and very well made. Not your typical cheese that's coming out of Hollywood these days; no real big name actors to speak of; the setting is in South Africa, and it's all the more refreshing for it. Special effects are amazing also.

8.7 for me.

Saw two movies in one day a couple days ago, my sister was bored and she offered to pay :D.

500 days of summer, was expecting a crappy chick flick.  Although its girly I thought this one was actually watchable, and is quite different then most love stories.  I enjoyed it, thought it had some cool camera work at times but nothing to out of the ordinary.  Was much better then expected, and I guess I'd give it a 7.5/10.  Maybe a 7/10.

Inglorious Basterds, absolutely loved the first hour and a half.  Excellent dialogue, good characters, funny bits thrown in there.  Good acting as well, especially by the German "Jew Hunter" guy, nailed his role imo.  However, I thought this movie could of been so much better and some scenes could of been made more lively.

8.5/10

5 for me, the racial story told in a scifi move has been done to death. To make it clear what is it about the mothership is over Johannesburg

Sci fi wise, big mother ship over a city, technology that can be activated only by aliens, everything done to dead.

But since I did watch the full film without yawning, it gets a 5.

the L word
The L Word Seasons 1-6 DVD Boxset
I'm glad some people have the guts to produce this kind of film(The L Word Seasons 1-6 DVD Boxset). It's not just educational, its enlightening, and FOR THE OPEN-MINDED: you will be more open to reality after watchingThe L Word Seasons 1-6 DVD Boxset. It's a movie, but the ideas of what's going on is there. It's excellent, I'm sure men loveThe L Word Seasons 1-6 DVD Boxset.Times are changing per say. I don't think The L Word Seasons 1-6 DVD Boxset relates to "queer as folk", nor similiar. The L word is alot more unique, and I'm bi-sexual. Of course, it's abou the alternative lifestyle and isn't for young audiences; very adult and educated oriented.Hope they win an award ;they're acting is fabulous.

Totally agree with Sabre

I watched it for about an hour and 10 mins and then switched it off. If your into that sort of thing then fair enough but i felt like a child watching it and got bored

Not my type of film at all
