Well its obvious to some on here that its perfectly acceptable for Lucas to remain an average player, and continue playing average football, with a less than average scoring ability, less than average skill........playing for a great team that wants to win the title this season?........with players like him we have no chance. :no

Yet all that average ability has got him into the full brazil squad and we know they are pretty average and scoring ability ? do players like masher and xabi have amazing scoring ability ?

No.....but they have something Lucas will never have....and thats skill, class, and the ability to create...Lucas is poor in all of those departments. :down:

Well he does have skill and he can create and has done for us on a number of occasions no one can deny that

He is a descent back up but he has been playing well as of late. I hope he can improve even more.

I think Lucas is a fantastic player, in fact one of our very best.

Every one of our players, irrespective of quality or workrate, deserves our unreserved devotion and adulation with no exceptions.

Rafa is the greatest manager of all time, apart from maybe Shankly, Fagan and Paisley, all other managers at other clubs are cr@p, in fact all other teams are cr@p, in fact everything which is not related to LFC is cr@p!

I hate Carlsberg for not having introduced me to LFC earlier, I should have always been devoted to LFC.

From now on I will speak my own opinions but only in line with forum regulations, doctrine and guidelines.

I will attack anyone who the flock/mob tell me to attack without thinking or questioning it.

I say all these things under my own freewill, all hail LFC Newkit, hurrah, hurrah hurrah!

Spot on reply - Lucas is avarage ,now we can accept this and walk on or we can say nope not good enough we are heading places and you aren't the one to help us.

What's strange to me that Rafa from all the talented skillful players Brazil and Argentina has to offer he picked those which play the most english football there is (Aureillio ,Mash and Lucas)...save the money pick a local boy.

He picked the lads most suited to the prem because thats the league we play in and also the foriegn lads you mention are a damn sight cheaper than their english counterparts and no less talented and in most cases more talented

Masher 18 mil - Hargreaves etc - 20 plus mil

Aurelio - Free - Bridge , Shorery etc 8 mil plus

Lucas 6 mil -Fletcher etc 10 mil plus

Or are you saying that Lucas is currently worth 6 and Fletcher 10, and if you are how does that square up with what you have been saying that Lucas is as good as Fletcher
