I thought Fletcher came through their youth ranks  ??? Or are you saying that Lucas is currently worth 6 and Fletcher 10, and if you are how does that square up with what you have been saying that Lucas is as good as Fletcher  ???

If you tried to buy fletcher from the mancs you would expect to pay just over 10 mil imo off course so getting someone of equal standard for 6 mil is why rafa went for lucas

So how much would Lucas cost today then ??? And just to clarify, are you saying that Fletcher would have cost 10 million+ when we bought Lucas three years ago, or he would now since he is a regular in Man Utd's first team ???

Look I'm not getting into the discussion here about how good Lucas is, whether or not the fans back him, whether he's good in the air and all that, I've made my feelngs fairly clear on him I think. Infact, I may even agree with some of what you say on Lucas.

I'm simply trying to clarify in my head what you are saying re Darren Fletcher. I'm not agreeing or disagreeing until I know for sure what you're saying and I've had a chance to think about it.

Are you saying that Darren Fletcher was worth and would have cost 10 million pounds sterling 3 seasons ago, and what would you put his value at now, and where is he relative to Lucas IYOH   ???

My value of fletcher three years ago would be different to what taggert would of valued him at - not saying he was or is worth 10 mil three years ago but thats what taggert would of wanted for him wether he was worth it or not becuase he rated him . and currently yes i rate them as players the same .

I think that three seasons ago you could have bought Darren Fletcher for 3-4 million mate TBPH. Now, I agree he'd cost 3 times that although he's probably not worth it. As of today though, he is much the better and more effective performer in the Premiership than Lucas I'm afraid to say. I do hold out hopes that Lucas may develop into the better player, he certainly has more in the locker I think, it's just whether he can find the keys in the bottom of his satchel or not.
