What are the chances of getting VDV on loan with a view to a permanent move at the end of the season?

Nakamura ? Aiden Mcgeady are two exceptions i feel both good players , scott brown as well . Nakamura has already left and gone to the italian league , matter of time before brown and mcgeady as well are snapped up by premier league clubs

McGeady is a headless chicken at the best of times. Believe me, I've watched him time amd time again for Ireland, and on the odd night when there's no other football on TV and I have to watch the SPL, he does nothing to contradict that opinion.
All trickery and rubbish in the middle of the pitch but not a decent result at the end of it all.
Not a chance, wouldn't even consider him.

And Nakamura - you'd only sign him if you could bring him on and off the pitch to take a free kick from 25 yards or less....No, also.....

Our best chance would be to get him on loan with first option to sign him , madrid would surey be happy to reduce some of the wage bill and their player getting first team football rather than sitting on the bench and sulking all season while his value goes down

His a good player for ajax his scored 52 goals in 117 apps not bad for a midfielder. Hope we snatch him

what we'll get is that we won't ever have to play Mascherano and Lucas together again... Benayoun might be needed on the left as Reira is not fit. Aquilani is also not fit yet. Gerrard we would always want him to play higher up. What's more VDV and Gerrard can switch positions if Gerrard was too tightly marked up front...
