Lucas has come out a month or so ago and said he has put on more weight and muscle for this season, as he feels he was a bit too lightweight for the EPL.

I am more than happy with him as a back up, and if he goes on to become a "good" player all the better. Why clamour to get rid of him, when he already does the job he was bought for. They cant all go on to be Gerrard!!!

A few rumours on Liverpool Echo forum that Corinthians of Brazil are interested in him.

?? What job was he bought for then, a utility player who can give away dangerous freekicks in theatening positions or a player who runs around like a headless chicken misplaceing passes and gets knocked off the ball?

If you think that he is Liverpool quality then your standards have taken a serious downturn. he is not Liverpool quality and never will be, irrespective of how much weight he piles on. He could be jabba the hut, he'd still be :censored:!

so he gave away a penalty and thats it then - he isnt liverpool standard ? he made a mistake against wigan and we paid the price just like we have over the season with mistakes from other players but lets just focus on that as opposed to the great performances against newcastle, blackburn, mature performance against man utd .
