And ace anderson has done nothing of note for man utd every time i have seen him play . Another player with a massive rep as a kid abroad and seems vastly overrated in my eyes . Would place fletcher better than him , he may have this wonderful ability you say he does and great shot but he doesnt seem to use it much - like i said three seasons is it at the mancs now and not one goal from a wonderkid attacking midfielder ?

alright .. we'll see how they both develop and we'll get back to that...

Anderson, Lucas & Ibrahimovic.. im sure theres a million other names but we'll stick to those 3 for now mate... ill get back to you on those three after this season ends..  :glare:

You can stick any names you want too - will go with what i see in front of me .

Look at the stats when the lad has started shows that lucas is far from as bad as you suggest .

i think this a a key point.. and something he needs to develop.

In the 2 games (yes only 2) I was at anfield last season, lucas started both games. He passed the ball backwards or sideways soooo many times i have to add 3 o's to the word so!

As much as i would rather keep possesion than him try a hollywood pass, he's got to start thinking more creatively if he is to have more of an impact in games

To me he just seems to be too happy to pass on the responsibility to others rather than trying to create things for himself. I don't think he is a world beater , but I don't think he is cr@p either. I would see how he goes this season, if we don't start to see all round improvements it might be time to think about getting shut.

ok hes not cr@p... if hes not then the likes of Scott Parker, Kevin Nolan, Sean Davis...etc etc arent cr@p either... point is, we can do much better ...

Hes good in the air i agreed with that but he doesnt make the runs into the box anywhere near enough times for it to be considered a big assett to his game, he's not a good passer in my books and im honestly sick and tired of hearing about players who "work hard"...
A good passer to me is someone who either constantly plays creative passes to bring others into play or someone who doesnt miss 9 out of every 10 passes he makes.. Lucas is neither.. correct me if im wrong, but the only times iv seen Lucas put in a good pass through to someone in an attacking position is when Lucas has all the space and time to do so... Even then, he sometimes misplaces the pass... Hes a CM or a holding midfielder however you want to look at it...with Mascherano in the side his job is mainly starting attacks from the back and picking the right passes rather than the easy ones, again, i dont think he does that... passing to Arbeloa or Mascherano whenever he gets the ball isnt going to get us anywhere, especially not with the style we play... atleast with someone like Parker (if we were really interested in him) we'd have someone who was reliable at the back and wouldnt make big mistakes that could potentially cost us points.. hes also a better passer in a sense that he actually gets the ball through to the intended target more often than not..

Lucas to me isnt good enough to come in and do a job, we can do better and as i said earlier if theres any interest in him id be more than happy to see him go with someone else coming in...

I agree we could do better Ace' , and I also think Anderson is a lot better than him at the moment too.

Anderson played Gerrard off the park the season before last at Anfield. I sincerely doubt Lucas could do that.  :D

Is it his second post ? sorry didnt realise - thats the worst thing i hate thou when people just come on and state such and such is cr.ap , rubbish, useless etc etc when it pretty obvious they arent as they are proffesional footballers who are playing in the prem - so while they may not be good enough for starting in a top four club etc they certainly arent rubbish or cr.ap etc

Let us also not forgert arguably the pass of the season to Steven Gerrard, last season against Newcastle. The boy needs to improve especially in taking more responsibility for our forward play.

Yes but Lucas is :censored:, not a :censored: footballer, certainly good enough for Brazil's junior team but not for LFC.  :buttrock
