Liverpool sign Borussia Dortmund defender Stephen Sama
22.07.09 | tribalfootball.com

Liverpool have swooped for Borussia Dortmund’s Stephen Sama on a two-year deal.

The Reds moved to land Sama before the German club could secure the 16-year-old on a professional deal, says the Mirror.

The highly-rated defender is a regular in Germany’s Under-17 side.

Good news i guess. :)

Well :censored: them, Xabi and Masch have a long way to go in their contracts so simply throwing their rattles out of their prams is not going to get them what they want.

They need to grow up the pair of them I am honestly sick of this situation and with their silence. They don't have the bollock.s to tell the fans straight what they really want, instead they talk through their fecking agents.

Or maybe you just believe every bulls.hit story in the press . :)

So all that about his wife not liking England is fabricated?

And Xabi really has no problems at all with Rafa or other things?

I guess we have nothing to worry about then.  ???

Check the Masch thread, his agent says that even the player is unhappy.

His agent is in for a big fat pay day if he moves. I'd hope that Masch gives him a bollocking for speaking publicly in such a stupid way.

Sissoko calm over speculation
Midfielder linked with move to the Premier League

Toulouse midfielder Moussa Sissoko is in the dark over rumours of Premier League interest in his services.

It is reported that the likes of Liverpool and Tottenham Hotspur have a liking for Sissoko, although neither club have commented on the speculation.

The 19-year-old remains committed to Ligue 1 club Toulouse despite the conjecture and is focused on the new season at Stadium Municipal.

He said: "I am flattered by those links, but, to be honest, president (Olivier) Sadran never said anything to me yet about any bid.

"For me, I will play for Toulouse until something is said to me. I am happy here and going abroad is not in my mind yet."

Liverpool are ready to reward young defender Daniel Sanchez Ayala with a new deal, skysports.com understands.
Negredo has Prem options

Alvaro Negredo's agent claims Premier League clubs have tabled bids for the Real Madrid striker.

Liverpool boss Rafa Benitez is ready to move in on Aston Villa's bid for Pompey defender Sylvain Distin - once Martin O'Neill has agreed a price.

Benitez will go headto-head with the Villa manager for the Portsmouth star who has seen several of his best team-mates head through the exit door at Fratton Park.

O'Neill has had an opening offer of £2.5million rejected, but he will return with more cash. However Benitez is keen to match the bid and speak to the player.

Distin is willing to go to Villa, where O'Neill sees him as a first-team starter. His arrival would also spark the sale of Zat Knight to Bolton Wanderers.

However the chance of going to Liverpool may appeal to him too, although he would want to know what his chances of a regular game would be.

Doesn't that Prieto from Sociedad play in the same position as him? Is the one who gets homesick easily?

To be honest Nanny I am sick of foreign players full stop. Id rather we look closer to home if possible.
