Masch is easily worth £35m given what Real are throwing around. There's no way Henry is worth £15m now because he's 31.

I don't think we should accept anything less than £30m + a player unless it's Messi of course :laugh:

Apparently we have beaten Arsenal to the signing of a young French player named Chris Mavinga aged 18, who plays at fullback and center back.

Anyone else heard this?

That is correct, I remember Henry saying that he would play for Liverpool before he moved abroad to Barca.

I think Henry + 20 million is a fair deal for Masch ... Leaves us that money to replace him and get a world class striker which we need aswel.

Real can go bollox. If I was Rafa I'd refuse to deal with them. They're questioning our valuation of Xabi, claiming it's way to much and doesn't fit in with their budget... who they trying to kid? Also now making a stoopid low offer for Arby too, £5million?? get to fek ya spanish wazzacks. :angry:

I know that he isn't even the best defender at PSG under 20 years old. Whatever that is worth.

Liverpool boss Benitez keeps moves for Cambiasso and Valbuena up his sleeve

Liverpool have reportedly lined up Esteban Cambiasso and Mathieu Valbuena as potential reinforcements in case their midfield is weakened by raids from Spain.

Real Madrid have cooled their interest in Xabi Alonso but Barcelona are still very much in the hunt for Anfield holding midfielder, leaving Rafa Benitez very much in need of a contingency plan.

Reports in Spain suggest Inter Milan midfielder Esteban Cambiasso is their primary target, but the versatile 28-year-old Argentina international is also said to be wanted by Manchester City.

Reports in France, meanwhile, say Liverpool are among several Barclays Premier League clubs chasing diminutive Marseille midfielder Valbuena.
