Pato is almost in a class all to his own, him and Aguero are the only ones I can think of that are that young, talented, accomplished, and promising. Negredo is probably in a similar class to Dzeko, IMO, and I would say he had a very good season with Almeria, using the scale of: terrible, bad, half decent, decent, good, very good, great, excellent.

Well he doesn't have too many other options though does he? He wants to stay in England and he also wants to play for a competitive team. So really he is going to have to end up playing for a rival club..

Apparently according to the dail mail we are interested in Hamsik , the midfielder who plays for napoli , he's more attack orientated than alonso and was the top scorer for his club last season as well , he's skrtel's international team mate as well

He is a reserve player for them as well. I don't want their sloppy 2nds here thanks. Wouldn't mind that Hamsik though.

What annoys me about the Negredo inclusion is that RM have a buy back clause on him for £4m-£5m yet they rate him at £10m+ in a deal with us. Cheeky gits!

This is just a more expensive version of the Nunez situation. Rafa should use the fact that Xabi has 2 years on his contract left to his advantage.

Negredo has nothing to do with Nuñez, he has scored 20 + goals with a shi.te team in his first year at the spanish league.

Ok maybe Nunez was an extreme one to compare it to but his valuation is way inflated. If any players are to be coming our way it has to be one of their top players.

IF we were to do for the swap deal i and get silva than probably would shift gerrard back in central mid and player negredo and torres up front.. Silva on left and kuyt on right.. Looks prominsing but unsure

I would play silva on the right and riera on the left... kuyt to bench... but rafa would probably put negredo on the bench...with kuyt and torres up front...
