Police cordoned off Manchester City Centre this morning when a suspicious
object was discovered in a car.

It later turned out to be a tax disc.

what a week.....yesterday was just perfect. no controversy, just us totally destroying them in their own back yard....now's the time to enjoy life, at least until next week!

other teams should strap on a pair when playing man u, we've shown the way twice this season now...

can't u just sense us being drawn against them in europe now?

dont get me wrong, i am over the moon, i have seen the game 6 times since it was live lol.

but i just wished it ment something in the long run, and i dont think it will.

It dont change the way i feel about Rafa or what he can or cant do at our club.

why just because we might not get 1st

if thats not the case it still give us confidence 2 go on a reat run & get 2nd place which gives us a little more money & means we dont have 2 play a qualifier 2 get into the champions league next year

plus it gives us a timely boost & could spurn us on in this years champuions league

not 2 mention the psychological effect it will have on us playing united next year knowing we can beat them twice & thrash them in thier own back yard & the other big teams aswell

so thats what this result has done 4 us if nothin more

Bam wrote:Aurelio is coming on leaps and bounds I have to say, the amount of times I've called for Rafa to handle Aurelio is countless. It indubitably appears that I have called that wrong, over the last month or so Aurelio has impressed. Humble pie my way, just hope he stays fit. He looks the defender I thought he wasnt.

Credit for your humbleness.

For me it just shows the big effects of not having injuries and confidence brings to a player. Aurelio never showed so far what I knew he was able of doing, but I knew the quality was there, and when the quality is there normally it appears sooner or later.

No player, no matter if we talk about Aurelio or ALonso, that have 3 injuries in a season has an easy task to be regular in that season. These things happen. The important thing is to have the quality.

Aurelio is a player with a good cross, composure to get out of difficult situations (look the elegance he solves a problem in min 2 or 3), a great long ball, very good controls and touch of the ball and deadly FK. This latter aspect is only appearing when his confidence is high, and I'll hope he keep this up. For those balls in the right border of the box, he's very accurate.

LOL, the Madrid press are using the amazing victory of Liverpool to justify their own 4-0.

They say it's more "chorreo" humilliating a 1-4 away than a 4-0 home!

And they're right
