Its a point that many of us feel strongly about, we shouted about signing some finished article players and when we do the manager treats him like a novice breaking into the first team squad
Rafa should never sign seasoned players with an opinion if he cant handle them!

Ah no bother mate, it's just its the third time someone has kind of got into me about the Keane situation when I'm probably the biggest whinger on the boards about it  :D .

Someone'll have a go at me for being too supportive of rotation next   :D .

I've got a bad feeling about tonights game. The team just looks devoid of the fighting spirirt that was so evident in the first months of the season. We may not get beat but I really can't see us triumphing against a resiliant Wigan team going on recent form.

Rafa needs to show some cojones with his team and tactics for tonight. A repeat of the Stoke & Blue shite showings will just about hand the Mancs the title IMO. If we go and attack and lose I can live with it more than just going there and playing for a point.

Team:
                     REINA

ARBELOA  CARRA  SKRTEL  AURELIO

           ALONSO     MASHA

    GERRARD                  RIERA

              TORRES    KEANE

Can't see it being that though

Stop talking about Rafa, please. The players are who wear the shorts. They will have to handle the pressure tonight. I wanna see a Gerrard, Torres, Alonso Keane and company rising to the occasion. If they fail, Rafa won´t be the guilty. They must go there out and work like men not like bad mannered and frightened females. They have enough quality to beat Wigan, so no excuses with the manager and stupidities.

Thought Vincent played for Citeh!

Talking of citeh, I was browsing a website that shows loans/transfer etc and it says Nemeth went out on loan on 26/01 - is this true? Can't remember where Threlfall plays, but by my reckoning we have four strikers and four wingers out on loan at the moment!
Never buy from PC World, product quality is poor and their 'customer service' is even poorer

Regarding your question about Nemeth it's true yeah, got his first bit of match practice for Blackpool yesterday according to the offal:

NEMETH GETS FIRST SENIOR ACTION
Jimmy Rice 28 January 2009
Reserves hotshot Krisztian Nemeth could not prevent loan club Blackpool slumping to a 3-0 defeat to QPR on Tuesday in his first senior game in English football.
The Hungarian, who was the star of Gary Ablett's title-winning reserves last term, came on after 59 minutes for the Championship side.

The 20-year-old agreed a month-long loan at Bloomfield Road on Monday.

Already part of the Hungary national squad, he has yet to feature in a competitive clash for Rafa Benitez's first team.

I'd pick

                    REINA

ARBELOA  CARRA  SKRTEL  INSUA

          ALONSO     MASHA

   KUYT        GERRARD    RIERA

                  TORRES

Keane on the bench. He can't have any confidence at the moment, and a shaky first 10 minutes would just make it worse.

Bring him on when the game is won (hopefully).

I have to say that I have little confidence of any sort of response to Manure's display last night....but I'd settle for a 1-0 win in 89th minute off Carra's ar$e.

To get back to todays match though, we definitely have to win to keep up with the other teams, but I fear it won't be easy at all. Bruce has a tendency to set up his team very well against us, so I reckon it will be a struggle which could quite easily end up another draw unfortunately :(. I just hope the boys are really up for the task and will go out and prove me and many others wrong. Also hopefully Agger is back in the team, as I really believe we could do with him for this game (even though he made a - ahem - slight error against Wigan the last time :D) and in general.
