Rafa wont get sacked over his performances in the league. We are 2nd after all and could still challange. If he leaves it will be through one or a combination of the following:

1) He will put the owners in an impossible position (which you could argue is what he is doing by refusing his contract talks)
2) The owners will sack him becasue they don't like him

Why is it acceptable to criticise our players ..... as you have done, but not to criticise the manager? Surely he is just as accountable for his mistakes as any player.

im not saying you cant have pops at the manager etc about tactics and so forth but make a statement that you will support the manager no matter what after spending a good couple of days constantly slagging him off to me is reidculous and a total contridiction . i will support our manager but understand he does get things wrong like pretty much everyone but i wont go around constantly slagging him off then say will support him no matter what ?!?!

Presumably he means by that, he won't be asking for Rafa to be sacked until the end of the season?

yet already stated in another thread he wants rafa gone - is that showing support no matter what ? really ? thats basically saying no matter what i want the manager gone - is that support of the manager ?

It is Saint..of course it is when he deserves it.
But LegBarnes just takes it to another level altogether!

Personally Id have had Hyypia on yesterday given the fact that Cahill and Lescott are as good a header of a ball in the box as you'll find in most teams.
But Im not gonna crucify Rafa for it.
We are in the middle of a season and we have a mountain of games coming up.Players are gonna be in and out of the team more now I feel and Hyypia cannot play every game..anyone can understand that.Rafa gets things wrong at times yeah but had our players scored another goal I would'nt be mentioning Hyypia!

Rafa can only do so much,he cant make players put the ball in the net. They need to take some of the flak as well at times.First half yesterday was just not good enough from any of them for example. In fact neither was the result.
On the flipside although we could do without the extra fixture, its another match to watch and theres feck all else to do on a wed night anyway!
Bring it on!

Wasn't asking for him to be sacked now I was saying he should go at end of season , yet agian you fail to retain the right info.

someone yesterday in your thread you started asked what do you want and you replied with RAFA GONE !!!

Because I want him gone end of season don't meen I won't suport him in meen time and hope he can turn things around and prove me wrong.

Thats what football is about people getting proved wrong and for me that would be a better result then him going.

But I personaly feel that won't happen or I wouldn't have said any thing.

but how are you supporting him by constantly slagging him off ?!?! thats some weird kind of support you have there

Its simple - you either give the manager your support and stop slagging him off on a daily basis or your dont support him in which case carry on with the constant abuse of him .

2 days of slagging him off over supporting him rest of time I think isn't to bad do you ?

What you all fail to see tho is that rafa has now his built team he bought 95% of his team and now its his teams.

No where to hide for him now if the teams fails he has failed as this is what he has chosen.

I get mad at way some of you slag of the of the players like kuyt and babel , and whats even more wierd is that they are both not playing in there right positions.

Never mind why not have a go at alonso who was playing in the right position and had a shocker.

But like I said its pointless to talk about these things when its rafa's team now and if we win I will praise him as much as if he fails I will say about it.
