A blast from the past (how cliched) - Who from lfc'spast would you bring back?

Liverpool Football Club - General Discussion

Simple question: Who, if anyone, would you bring back to the club to help in the Prem 04/05? If you could have one former Red in their prime playing for us today, who would it be?

I'll get the ball rolling and say an early 90s Stevie Mac. Running through defencive lines and being able to supply Cisse, Baros or Pongolle with short, precise passes.

And now it's up to you.

P.S. Don't say Owen. I know he would be nice but let's try and use our imaginations.

Kenny Dalglish, without a doubt.  He'd make the most of Cisse's pace in the same way he used to set through balls up for Rushie in the early 80's.

McMahon alongside Gerrard, Dalglish up front and Hansen along side Hyppia, am I being greedy? :)

Dalglish no contest. :D
Smith to Shankly:My thigh is a bit sore, but I think I could play.
Shankly to Fagan:Tell him,Joe.He has got no chance of playing.
Smith to Fagan:Tell him to sod off.It is not his leg,it's mine.
Shankly to Smith:Oh no son.You are wrong, son. It is not your leg.
It is Liverpool Football Club's leg.
