Fowler - Bring him back

Liverpool Football Club - General Discussion

Postby 7_Kewell » Fri Jan 27, 2006 7:00 pm

well I have some severe doubts about Fowler.  However, really i hope he can recapture his old form....maybe, just maybe being back in a red shirt will do it.  we'll see.

Well, when Stu was discussing hardly the points defending Fowler, and some said that "he's past it" I agreed Stu :)

Nice signing.

i dont think he was the player he was but this team we have now creates chances and we now have the man to put them away

Made up. Hopefully it will all work out for us and him.

I can't see it not doing.

I think this is a short term reason, come the end of the season I think they'll review the striker situation.

Banana you mentioned how Roy Evans squandered Robbie's chances? He played a formation that Robbie thrived on along with Steve Mcmanaman. Only Robbie really had himself to blame for his demise at the club. Lets hope he gives it 100% this time, keeps himself fit and stays out of trouble. Over to you God.

i hope that pongollie stil gets chance to prove himself becuase he starting to progress and it would be a shame for him to fall further down the pecking order, although fowler is short term

F*cking get in there!!!!

Anyone that doubts this signing should cast their mind back to last weeks woeful efforts in front of goal.
Fowler is just the sort of player we need to feed off Crouchy.
This is proper bo a tell thee!

apparently, from a good mate of mine who is a journo, rafa has been after fowler since august but needed to improve other areas of the team first such as defense, and the last few games for fowler 4goals in 2games convinced rafa that fowler still has it!
also, parry offered him a three year deal but fowler refused it as he wants to prove himself to the club and the fans first and if it doesnt work out this is his swansong hes gonna retire this summer, but if it does work out and when i does work out, he will sign for longer!!!

Would'nt it be sweet if we were to draw Lyon (once Benfica is out of the way) in the Champions League & Robbie was to score the goal to send them out.... Justice.
