We have a very god chance imo... ManUtd still big favourites to win it... their upcoming set of fixtures makes them clear cut favourites imo and if we are to win i think we atleast have to match them result for result from here on and look to get something out of the game against them.... their game against Chelsea sometime soon will be absolutely vital in this year's title challenge... best case scenario they both end up dropping points by drawing yet again.. Hopefully we'll have Torres back soon and wont struggle as much against the smaller teams... Arsenal are going to have a big say in our title challenge aswell imo... if they can get results against Chelsea and ManUtd yet again it would be brilliant for us....

only reason im going on and on about other sides and their results is because i really dont think that we have it in us to go out and beat the smaller sides convincingly like we should... i think we'll continue to drop points that we shouldnt be dropping..but thn again the way this season is going all sides are...

Take it one game at a time from here on and hope for the best... another thing... i just hope Rafa realizes that we'v dropped way too many points so far from not going all out for the win when we'r drawing a game we should be winning... hope in the second half of the season he takes more risks when teams are sitting back and inviting the pressure thinking they'll come away with a point... if we dont then i see us dropping too many points by drawing a few games too many....

Just like the champions league 2005, it seems we are fated to win the premier league...... Even when we play $hit....the opposition play even more $hitter.........

Like statistics beneitz said, if u are top during x'mas, we have 80% chance of winning the league....

HOHOHOHOHO

Working from the theory that we have to find form at some point and of coarse with the prospect of a fit and firing Torres lo come I think we've got a great chance.
Scolari isnt the right man for chelsea, he just see's it as a nice little earner before he retires and if storys are to be believed most of the  squad arent happy and some big players could even be leaving.
But it is right and just that it should fall to us to defend our record agaist the enemy, come on you reds.
Dont judge a book by the cover, unless you cover just another, because blind exceptance is a sign,

But are we good enough.....................................................................

COME ON RED MEN make us champions!!!

If ever there was a season to win the title it is this year.
Its 17 days since any of the "top 4" won....
It is ours to loose imo.

Hopefully Liverpool will go up the gears in the coming months.
I think Liverpool, Man U & Chelsea will all hit form together so it should be an intriguing run-in to the seasons end.

I think Villa can sneak in and be champions depending on their results against the big 4 and if they keep their current pace.  But, I'm still thinking is us  :)

We need to cut down the draws and as it cost us loads of points last season and we have gotten 4 in the space of 3 weeks . Manure will be coming back at charging at us , hopefully the world club championship matches takes it toll .

All round the fields of Anfield Road
Where once we watched the King Kenny play (and could he play!)
Stevie Heighway on the wing
We had dreams and songs to sing
'Bout the glory, round the Fields of Anfield Road

Right no more talk about jinx's , we are top . So lets feckin go for it , lets get Torres and skrtle back and start pushing games now . From here on in every slip up and i mean every slip up could be costly . We managed (and i don't know how sometimes ) to stay top at chrimbo .
This is where the pressure really starts and we've goto as a collective push together . Leave your critisism till after the match or for internet boards . If your going the match , get behind the team no matter what and no matter who plays. We have to show our players we believe in them (even the ones you think are :censored:) and it will breed a confidence at home .
It's up to the fans ,players and manager to be as one and to feckin win this fecker and get this friggen monkey off our collective backs.
Man utd will be the team to watch imo . They have been away in Japan and we have only extended our lead a smidgen . They will be rubbing there hands with glee thinking that they now have a couple of games in hand and they can put the pressure on us if they win them .

I will put this to you though . Who's place would you rather be in now ,ours or the mancs.

COME ON FECKIN REDMEN!!!!!!!!!!
UP THE PURPS !!!

Ours every day of the week Igor..better to have the points on the board than to play 180 minutes of football for them, especially this season when teams are dropping points all over the place.
Lets kick the second part of the season off with thumping Bolton on Boxing day!
UTD and Chelsea play eachother on the 10th of Jan and we play Chelsea on the 31st..MASSIVE month,if they draw with eachother and we beat Chelsea at home, things will be looking good! :D

(Of course we must win our other games in between) :nod

It feels great to be top. We have to kick and fight to make sure we can hold onto this. It's a bit sad to think we could have potentially been 6 or 7 points clear which would have left everyone feeling much better but I guess things dont always play out as expected.

With Torres still to come back as long as Stevie and Robbie stay fit I think have a great chance.
My new blog for my upcoming holiday.

i reckon rafa has to look at his chances now, top spot at xmas, chelsea not playing too well, Arsnal not getting the results and regardless of the cost - buy big. 1x Top quality player and we'll nail this league. Just like when we bought rosenthal. c'mon rafa - spend big.

well i don't think its up to him lets hope owners do the right thing for once and give rafa 20 mil to spend in jan.

If he can bring in right winger and striker we got a really good chance.

I wanna see dosser , babel , keane gone in jan.

Yes you heard me right babel he had his chance that showing he did vrs arsenal was disgraceful bb babel bb.  :oh:

Babel might as well go, for his own sake. Benitez isn't going to go him a crack in a decent position and he's just wasting his time and career. Robbie Keane probably regrets the day he signed for the team and perhaps welcomes a release too at this point.

One thing in our favor, I seem to recall that Scolari was told last week that he won't get money for the transfer window. Liverpool should try an capitalise on that.

Who to go for though.......hmmmmmm.
