Kirkland over dudek - Kirland should be liverpool's number 1

Liverpool Football Club - General Discussion

Three reasons Kirkland is better than Dudek:

1) Kirkland is more quicker and braver when coming of his line.

2) Kirkland is a more of a presence in goal. Dudek is too small, when Kirkland is in between the posts the goal looks a lot smaller.

3) Kirkland has longer limbs. His arms and legs are a lot longer so he can reach things that look imposible to reach, but beacuse of his slim build he loses none of his agilty.

I think we have a potential great in Kirkland, he is 6 foot 6 inches, and has cat like agility.

Dudek has been inconsistent since he got back into the team. he's form has been eratic to say the least.

It's time to give Kirkland the number 1 jersey.

Couldn't the same be said of James when he was in goal?

James was unpredictable, he was unsure, when Kirkland comes for a ball he comes fully without doubt, James would half come, half go back, and then half come again, by the time he had gone through all this the ball was in the net.

The one thing that I really like about Kirkland is that he is a confident boy.

Dudek is potentially one of the best in the world, but he is a confidence player.

I don't see that in Kirkland.

Thats weird, as soon as I put this topic up, Houllier selected Kikland for the next game, maybe he's listening to me, if he is, please drop Heskey.

I think Euro 2004 is to late for Kirkland to be England number one, I got a feeling Sven will stick with James and the replace him with Kirkland after the tournament, as long as Kirkland stays as Liverpools number 1.

I reckon Kirkland will be Liverpool's number one for the remainder of the season.  Poor Jerzy, but replacing him is a positive move.  He is still an excellent keeper nevertheless.

I think who plays in goal is the least of our worries, where the goals come from is a more pressing concern. We've failed to score more than once seven times so far in the Premiership and we've fired blanks in four league games this season already. Three goals against Everton gave us all pleasure but the other teams we have managed three goals against are Leeds Utd and Blackburn who are also both struggling. Half our goals this season have come in those three games. The three 0-0 draws would make better reading if they had been against manu, Arsenal and Chelski not against Villa, Boro and Spurs :(

Dudek at least partially to blame for both goals vs. Manure. Again.
Kirkland should be given chance he earned last year as he is future for Reds and England.
James was great in open play but gave me a heart attack on every corner and free kick. Still the same but doesn't matter as it is the Hammers' problem now!

Team's biggest problem isn't the goalkeeper, it's the manager.
