Barca ripped them to shreds! Valencia's defence was cr@p. Barca are quality. Happy to see Herny getting a hattrick.

Henry has still got it , barcelona have got to be favorites to win the league this season they way they have been playing .

As for capel , i think he's not physical enough for the premier league and would be sitting on his :censored: more often that anything

Yes, Guardiola's Barcelona is clicking.

One question mates, have you read anything about bribes in England? The biggest scandal in Spanish football is about to explode. In summer, in the Real Sociedad thread I already said these things happen in my country but I didn't expect anything to happen. But some recordings may change everything.

A recording with a conversation between Descarga (Levante) and his chairman taking the píss about how they allowed to lose against Bilbao for money has left anyone indifferent. Days before, a recording of a player of Tenerife (Jesuli) admitting he had accepted money for losing has created the same effect. In both cases my local team was fúcked, in the Bilbao case we got relegated, and in the other case we couldn't promote.  :no

Right now it's the most hot topic around here, and the case has gone to justice. The government demands an investigation, and so does the fans. The Spanish F.A, tried to hide everything in summer, they only wanted to talk about the Euro, but this time may be different, as the scandal has gone international

the international press have echoed this, and the Spanish press is asking Real Sociedad and Celta go up

So everybody around here is waiting for what's the Spanish FA going to do.

Normally, the corruption of them would lead them to hide everything, but this time the scandal is too big.

Have you read anything up there, or is this the first news you have about it?

thats incredible, you'd think after the Italians got dragged through the mud for this kinda thing other countries would steer well clear of such activity.

Even then Milan got away with murder. They should have been relegated.

^That was one of the best non Liverpool games that I've seen in a long time.  That is what I call a real football match!

I also watched Madrid lose. They were unlucky not to score 2 goals in the first minute, and then they were down a goal after 3.  The nature of the game didn't change much after that.  If they want Babel, and they are going to bring in Huntelaar we should look to get somebody off their squad. But who would they be willing to part with? Would love Huguain or Sneijder, but  Saviola would be the only one I think that could be available and I'm not sure that would be worth it.

Schuster has already given up on that one beforehand stating: "That game (against Barcelona) concerns me less than any other game. Right now it's not possible to win at the Nou Camp, Barcelona are in great form and demolishing teams, and I think this is going to be their year."

Way to make your team believe :D. Even though he's probably right with all the absentees in his squad and Barca being on fire, this just seems ridiculous to come out with BEFORE the game. Recently he also said he had a feeling they wouldn't get anything out of their game against Getafe after they'd lost 3-1. He really seems to have lost the plot lately :kungfu:.

I've heard about this scandal yes. Feel really sorry for you mate, that your team has been on the receiving end of it on both occasions :(. I hope the spanish FA is able to rectify this in any way, though it won't make up for lost time (and money) away from La Liga.

I just hope that Schuster somehow survives this bad period, because Real will certainly start sniffing around Benitez if he gets axed.
