That was an interesting gameweek in la liga.

Higuain and Etoo, they both scored 4 goals.

Barca in general are amazing tbh. Whereas Real Madrid are often scraping for their wins, Barca are just murdering their opponents atm. Very impressive.

Good to see Eto'o back to his best. I'd put Torres, Villa and him as the top 3 strikers in world football at the moment.

And to think that we could have signed him when he was at Mallorca.

Aswell as Villa, when he was at Zaragoza. Rafa sure has had his eyes on some of the best current strikers in the world, when you also think about the fact, that he was on to Agüero while he was back in Argentina. Luckily for us he actually did succeed in signing one of them in Torres.

I dont know where to say this so ill say it in here

Tomorrow night Spain play Chile in a friendly. Well my guts will be in bits until that game finishes an all our players who have played are sound. I watched Chile play Argentina last month i think it was , An i know it was a world cup qualifier an this one is only a friendly but ill tell you what them Chile players dont half get stuck in they play with there hearts for that shirt they wear crackin little team.

IF anyone is gonna watch the game keep an eye out for a kid called Fabian Orellana absolutly superb imo i mentioned him ages ago in another thread but i cant find it . he could be worth a sneaky little punt by Rafa on the cheap because sooner or later hes gonna be tagged with big money well worth a watch imo

You're probably right, plus there's the factor that the CL will make Atletico a price. The likes of Camacho do not give great squad depth.

Emery's Valencia is working and considering they don't play the champions league it's almost for certain that they'll make top four.

Emery, a former cráp RS player is being the sensation in the Liga this season. It's not easy to reach Valencia and triumph there considering all the dressroom problems they had. Some compare him to Rafa, he's a football student aswell, but I'd say he's approach to man management is softer, kind of "I've been a player recently and I understand your problems".

They'd had the odd dodgy result of late. I saw them lose to Valladolid at home, and I know they lost to Gijon somehow, but I expect them to finish in the top four nonetheless.

I think Barca are almost certainties to win the title. The others have too many probems in defence.

I watched an interview with Emery a few weeks back and seemed exactly as you describe, but he's not a patch on our Rafa.

I read today that Diego Capel would consider a move. Shame we already have Reira but he would be a quality signing.

Half the Real Madrid team not talking to Sergio Ramos especialy Raul an Gutti. Cant see him being there after this season unless its sorted quick, That Raul has to much influence on team matters

That last President of theirs really did get his wish of Real becoming the Disney of world football. Looking at the at them moment there isn't any bigger Mickey Mouse outfit in world football.
The Manager (Schuster) has more mood swings than a woman low on HRT! :p

The manager and the sporting director don't see eye to eye, Mijatovic is signing players Schuster doesn't want.

The players seemingly know that Schuster is on his way so aren't performing.

The President is saying they won't sack Schuster, unless they have catastrophic results i.e. Lose to Valencia and Barcelona. Both of whom they play in the two games after Sevilla this weekend.  :Oo:

DEAD MAN WALKING ANYONE??  :D

Watched Valencia v Barca.

Barca ripped them to shreds! Valencia's defence was cr@p. Barca are quality. Happy to see Herny getting a hattrick.
